The manual contains information and tips for residents, visitors, and businesses designed to assist with planning and preparing for the upcoming August 21 event. The approved source for accurate information from key agency partners. 

Basic community preparedness is important while ‘hosting’ the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. It’s a unique natural event. In fact, eclipse experts and enthusiast deem anyone living in the eclipse path as “lucky.” Aside from simply looking up at the sky at 11:34 am on August 21st eclipse day (GLASSES please!), individual/local and community success depends on knowing what to expect, recognizing excitement surrounding the event and experiencing all of it’s awesomeness in safety and fun!
